Hi there, I'm Chris Mader (XBL: Chris Castor, blackdog DOT loudcat AT yahoo DOT com) and I'm here to show you how to better use Halo 3's Forge. More specifically, I'll be giving advice on how best to build on Foundry and Sandbox. Now, I'm not the best Forge guy there is, but I am pretty damn good at this and have been Forging since I got Halo 3. Rockin' it, might I add. A lot of my techniques might be too advanced for beginners (see the section below) but feel free to take a look anyway.
I'm not suggesting that you build things exactly the way I do or even that you build them at all, I just want to show what is possible and hopefully give some ideas and inspiration to those who need it. If ever any questions arise, please feel free to contact me via e-mail or XBL.

I will not be covering basic forging techniques because, remember, this site is for learning how to better use the Forge as a tool for creation.
If any of the following terms are unfamiliar to you, there are several sites that cover them better than I ever could. The Forge Hub, for instance. Here's what you'll need to know:
Interlocking
Meshing/Merging
Floating
If you can handle those three things, we'll get along fine. ;) Now get to browsing!
